There has been some recent news about Jessica O'Donnell and Stressgoneforgood. Unfortunately I have been far too busy to do a solid post on all of this. But here is the latest...

On May 7th 2008 Jessica plead guilty to 7 different charges and was sentenced to (a mere) 5 years probation for her involvement in the surrogate mother scheme she ran. The judge sited that some leniency was used because it has been verified that Jessica is 8 months pregnant with yet another child that will be brought into her world of lying and deceit.

Too bad she didnt get a stint in prison.

So the big questions are: Is she allowed to use the internet while on probation? and.....will she come back to this site to argue with me about how innocent she is and how my blog is smearing her good name?

Here is an article someone just sent me, it is mostly old news on this case....however it does outline the details of how Jessica was caught. I also never knew the exact ammout of the bail....$140,000! That's a lot of $200 mattress scams....lest anyone forget how I came to know Jessica and her internet scams. Again we see a mention that O'donnell posed as an attorney. I love how that keeps coming up in these articles....because we have such undeniable proof of this RIGHT HERE ON THIS SITE!

Jessica O'Donnell offered hope to couples desperate to have a child. For some, it was too good to pass up. Authorities say the 28-year-old woman billed herself as a surrogate mother at a fraction of the typical cost. She claimed to be a nurse. She told them her husband, a soldier, had been killed in Iraq. Police now say the South Carolina woman lied -- about everything. O'Donnell, a mother of two who is still married, remained in a Greenwood County jail Thursday, unable to post $140,000 bail. She was accused of bilking about $14,000 from at least six people she met on the Internet and charged with obtaining money under false pretenses. Her husband also has been charged. "They were just ripping these poor people's hearts out," said Greenwood County sheriff's Maj. John Murray. "She admitted what she was doing and said she knew it was wrong." It was unclear if the O'Donnells have hired an attorney. A woman who answered the telephone at the couple's home hung up when asked about Jessica O'Donnell. A subsequent message was not returned. O'Donnell told people to send sperm in a plastic cup and use ice packs and a cooler to preserve the fluids, according to a police report. She said she would then have a friend who is a nurse inseminate her. Authorities started investigating two weeks ago when someone who contracted with O'Donnell called the hospital where the woman claimed she worked. The hospital said O'Donnell had never worked there and called the sheriff's office. Police this week said they found several coolers and contracts at the home of O'Donnell's parents, where she lived with her husband and children, in the small town of Hodges, about 80 miles northwest of Columbia. After discovering an Internet message board that warned couples about O'Donnell, police began contacting potential victims. According to police reports, victims of the scam were from Tennessee, New York, Alabama, Minnesota and Pennsylvania. The people, whose names were not released, told investigators they connected with O'Donnell through an Internet site. When she was arrested, O'Donnell told investigators she was 15 weeks pregnant with her husband's child, Murray said. Investigators are awaiting test results to determine whether she actually is pregnant. Dr. Florence Hightower, a psychotherapist and coordinator of in-vitro fertilization at Advanced Fertility and Reproductive Endocrinology Institute in West Columbia, said couples looking for a surrogate are often vulnerable. "The Internet is a fabulous source to get on to find surrogates," Hightower said. "Women in that situation where they are looking to surrogacy, they have exhausted all other avenues." Hightower's office does not work with surrogates in which the woman carrying the child also is the egg donor because of the potential for legal complications. The process can cost about $50,000, depending on the surrogate's fee, Hightower said. O'Donnell was charging a lot less, police said. A Pennsylvania woman told investigators she and her husband agreed to send O'Donnell $1,000 up front and another $1,000 after confirmation of O'Donnell's pregnancy, according to the police report. The woman said O'Donnell received the first check Oct. 8. About a week later, O'Donnell sent an e-mail requesting another $1,000 for car repairs. The woman sent the money but later received paperwork purporting to confirm the pregnancy that made her suspicious. She contacted the Greenwood County health department and found the documents she had been sent did not match official county letterhead, police said. Police said the woman e-mailed O'Donnell, who admitted that she sent a fake document because she couldn't get to the health department without a car. The couple stopped communicating with O'Donnell and hired a mediator. O'Donnell then sent e-mails to the mediator, posing as an attorney, police said.

Thanks for visiting.....things here have died down since Odonnell and her husband are still under investigation for the surrogacy scam.

I recieved a few e-mails from people offering their evidence from other scams run by the Odonnells....and I appreciate that.

At the moment I don't think there is anything we (or I) can do with documents, emails etc. that you people might have...however now that I have been thinking about it perhaps I should offer myself up as a library of sorts for this material. I suppose having it all collected in one place might come in handy.

For the moment, if you have any information on scams run by any of the companies or people listed on this site (Jessica Odonnell, Stressgoneforgood, Jodo Publishing etc. etc.) please send me an e-mail.

The attempt at removal...

I mentioned this in an earlier post, but here is the actual material.
Last week, before she was arrested, Jessica O'Donnell attempted to have this blog removed and posted the following on Google Groups.

GWToday and O'Donnell

The e-mails continue to roll in about Jessica O'Donnell's scams and arrest. I am glad that the focus of this case is the surrogacy scams since her internet rip-offs seem to be minor in comparison. I do not know if any of these will come to light, but I hope they do and I have offered all of my records and information to the GSCO for their review. I believe Jessica's comments on this site as well as her attempts at using the same fake attorney to try and scare me are probably the most useful in the current case.

I would like to again thank all of the people that have been e-mailing me well wishes, thank yous and support...but,again, the credit goes to the families seeking a surrogate that were ripped off by this woman. They turned her in, they brought her to justice. I understand that this site might have been influential in some ways, particularly in that O'Donnell and I did have somewhat of a dialogue going here...but the true credit goes to the families that went to the authorities.

How do these people sleep at night? This woman is just like a murderer in that she kills these peoples hopes and dreams. These unsuspecting victims really believe that she conceived their baby only to end up crushed. Jessica's victims are grieving a baby that was real to them. Jessica should rot in hell and so should her husband. Any children and babies should be removed from the home. No child should have to live with such evil parents

::::: On Dec. 6, Garcia reportedly received an e-mail from someone named Kelly Anderson, who said she worked at R&K Associates, a law firm supposedly in Honea Path. Anderson reportedly responded to Garcia, saying “my client cannot be brought upon legal charges in the state of S.C., we are not a friendly surrogate estate and we have no laws regarding such a matter.”Garcia also reportedly received another letter from Anderson, this one saying she was a paralegal and her husband is an attorney. Anderson said they work from home and would be representing O’Donnell. Residents of South Carolina recently provided me with the following news of her (and her husband) getting arrested for their surrogate scams. I guess the exciting conversations she and I were having are now over).....oh, and she's (probably) a guilty scumbag as I suspected. I wonder if any of this is the work of the visitors I have had here who brought the surrogate scam to light on this site?? I don't think I need to say any more then what I have already said on this site...so let's look at the news articles and watch this play out.

Just moments ago, Daniel Michael O'Donnell, 28, of 1006 Sally White Road Ext, Hodges (the husband of Jessica O'Donnell), was also arrested and charged with the same allegations. Jessica O’Donnell, 28, of 1006 Sally White Road in Hodges has been arrested and charged with Obtaining Money Under False Pretense. On December 7th, at 5pm, The GCSO (Greenwood County Sheriff’s Office) responded via telephone to a caller in Palmyra, Pennsylvania. The caller stated that she was searching for a surrogate mother to begin the surrogate process. She said she went to a surrogate website on the computer and placed an ad on a secure message board for a surrogate mother. She said her ad was responded to by a Ms. Jessica O’Donnell of Hodges, SC .
The correspondence continued between the two ladies and after the caller spoke to her husband about O’Donnell, they agreed to enter into a contract with O’Donnell for the surrogate process. Ms. O’Donnell requested $2,000 up front as a binder for the contract. The caller stated that they (the couple) told O’Donnell that they would pay $1,000 up front and the other $1, 000 upon receipt of paperwork confirming the pregnancy of O’Donnell. The caller told the deputy that O’Donnell agreed to these terms. The caller then stated that she sent the first payment via personal check on 10/08/2007. This check was cashed at Wachovia bank. The caller stated that before they received any paperwork from Ms. O’Donnell confirming her pregnancy, they received an e-mail from O’Donnell. This was on 10/17/2007. In this e-mail, she (O’Donnell) requested the other $1, 000 from the couple, stating that she needed this money for car repairs…that her transmission had gone out on her car and she needed to get it fixed in order fro her to have means of transportation. The caller stated they sent a money gram to Wal Mart in the amount of $1,000 and made O’Donnell aware of this. The caller said they eventually received paperwork from O’Donnell stating she was pregnant. The caller stated that she thought the papers looked suspicious, and contacted The Greenwood County Health Dept. This is where Ms. O’Donnell told her she was going for the pregnancy test. The caller spoke with a nurse at the health department, and in turn, the nurse faxed a copy of their letterhead (that is used in declaring pregnancy in a patient they are treating) to the caller. The letterhead did not match what O’Donnell had sent to the caller.
The caller then e-mailed O’Donnell about this and O’Donnell admitted to sending her false documents stating she was pregnant. The caller stated that O’Donnell told her in this e-mail that she was having trouble with her insurance and finding a doctor that would do the test. She also said she has not been able to get to the health department for a test because she does not have a car. This declaration came after she requested the second $1,000 for car repairs. She went on to tell the victim that she would have the paperwork (confirming pregnancy) by Friday, 11/30/2007. The victims never received the paperwork and they sent an e-mail back to Ms. O’Donnell telling her she has figured out several lies that she (O’Donnell) has told her and she would be contacting their attorney. The caller and her husband decided to hire a mediator to correspond with Ms. O’Donnell about the surrogate process because Ms. O’Donnell had apparently been so dishonest that they did not wish to contact her anymore.
The investigation continues and according to the GCSO, with more victims who are involved. Please stay connected for the latest breaking news and the follow-up on this article. ***A press release (from the GCSO) is scheduled to be released to the media in the very near future. Other alleged victims may be found on google.com (under O’Donnell’s name). [I guess this would include this site...so will they investigate her other fraud business prsactices??]

A name of a paralegal and an attorney (from Honea Path, SC) was given to the mediator, who in turn called the SC Bar Association, who told the mediator that they did not have any record of an attorney’s office in SC by that name. [where have we seen this before?]
The victim feels that she has been ‘scammed’ out of her money because Ms. O’Donnell has not done anything but lie to her since they entered the surrogate contract. The victim has a copy of the personal check that was signed and cased for one of the $1,000 payments, and she also has paperwork from the money gram for $1,000 that she sent to Wal Mart. Detectives spoke with Wal Mart and they provided the GCSO with what they identified as a Washington Driver’s License number presented by O’Donnell when she picked up the money gram. The Driver’s license number was an invalid number.
On 12/11/07, investigators spoke with Jessica O’Donnell in reference to a surrogate mother scam reported to the GCSO. During the conversation with O’Donnell, it was learned that she has been posing as a surrogate for several victims during the same time frame. O’Donnell stated that she is indeed 15 weeks pregnant, but the biological father is her husband. Investigators did execute a search warrant of the O’Donnell home and found the following:
A signed contract between the (alleged) biological father and the surrogate mother (found in the bedroom); dated November 26, 2007. The victim (alleged biological father) was contacted (via telephone) by the GCSO and he (the victim) stated that he met O’Donnell through a website (http://www.surrogatemomsonline.com/). After making arrangements by email and phone with O’Donnell, a contract was singed and he sent a $500 retainer on 11-26-07 to O’Donnell along with a package containing a biological specimen belonging to him for child surrogate services. On 12/10/07, this victim stated that he spoke to O’Donnell via telephone and he was told by her that she was pregnant, (believing to be by his specimen). He then sent O’Donnell a $4,000 cashiers check via UPS. O’Donnell had reportedly received $4, 500 from this victim.

On 12/11/07, the GCSO spoke again to O’Donnell in reference to the alleged scam. Specifically during the interview, O’Donnell told of a surrogacy she had contracted with another victim and further went on to describe that there had been a problem and she was planning to repay them on 12/12/07. Investigators did, during the search warrant, also find a contract between O’Donnell and this victim. This contract, too, was found in O’Donnell’s bedroom and dated October 29, 2007. This victim was contacted via telephone by the GCSO and she stated that she, too, had met O’Donnell via the same website as the previous victim (on or around 10-15-07). After making arrangements by e-mail and phone with O’Donnell, a contract was signed and sent to O’Donnell along with a retainer for $1, 000 and a package containing a biological specimen belonging to the spouse of this victim for child surrogate services. This took place around 10-29-07. O’Donnell allegedly told this victim that she had become pregnant with their specimen and an additional $3, 050 by cashiers check was sent to O’Donnell. Based on O’Donnell’s statement that she is 15 weeks pregnant with her own husband’s child, and the knowledge that she has been posing as a surrogate for several victims during the same time frame, it is evident that O’Donnell obtained $4, 050 from this couple with the intent to cheat and defraud them of that money.

According to the official police report from the GCSO, many forms of incriminating evidence were found covering the floor and living space of the small bedroom occupied by Jessica O’Donnell and her husband. Prior to the search, the husband was found sleeping on the mattress that is located in close proximity of recovered items. Evidentiary items included:
Letters
Contracts
Shipping packages(large envelopes and coolers for cold shipping)
Receipts
Two computers
Email address of d_day29@yahoo.com

While at the residence, an interview was conducted with O’Donnell’s husband. During such, he stated that the previously mentioned email address was his. While conducting the investigation of the numerous reported frauds, it was learned that Jessica O’Donnell had referred several of the victims to contact the previously mentioned email address for a reference.

Today, Jessica O’Donnell was advised that the GCSO believed that her husband was involved, even though he verbally denied any knowledge when interviewed. Jessica O’Donnell voluntarily replied “How could he not know?” and “He knew (about the frauds), and he never tried to stop me.”
Based on Jessica O’Donnell’s statement that she is 15-weeks pregnant with her husband’s child, and the knowledge that she has been posing as a surrogate for several victims during the same time frame, it is evident that Jessica O’Donnell obtained $2,000 from one victim (in Pennsylvania) with the intent to cheat and defraud the, of that money. It is also apparent that her husband was surrounded by the activities conducted by O’Donnell on a daily basis, since he is unemployed and stays at the residence with his wife during the day. These activities consist of online e-mail and chatting, telephone calls, and receiving and shipping letter and packages. It is also apparent that given their current living arrangements, that O’Donnell’s husband benefited from the fruits of Jessica O’Donnell’s fraudulent activities.

I don't know how stupid she thinks people are, but Jessica O'Donnell has some pretty big balls.

When she first came to this site and made comments on how she shared the name Jessica O'Donnell and was unhappy that "this other person" had scammed people online and was worried that she might be confused with her...I understood her concern, but also pointed out that there are many people in the same boat (eg the Michael Jacksons of the world) and that most reasonable people know that when they do a Google search they are going to come back with some pretty usual results and unsubstantiated facts. I have made steps to point out that my unhappiness is with a person and company in particular...however, I have also kept a very democratic an public forum going here which brought some comments to whether the Jessica that was posting is in fact 1) the same person I was intending to find and 2) a underhanded scumbag that has been scamming families seeking a surrogate mother.

As all of this has unfolded I have been skeptical of "wildsoutherngirl28" but then she just went too far.

In the last set of comments she not only posted as herself but also as "attorneyforjessicaodonnell" (genius!) requesting that I cease and desist etc etc. She left the name of a lawyer and law firm that does not exist in South Carolina (which I confirmed through the SC state bar) and she posted a cease and desist form letter which she created for free and cut-and pasted from http://www.agreementsetc.com/ the exact form can be found here (try it, make your own cease and desist against me!) ...a document that, despite it's legalspeak, is worthless....especially as a post in the comments section of a blog.

At this point I would like to post a few things about the unauthorized practice of law (as it is stated with the South Carolina Bar, specifically) In order to practice law in South Carolina, an attorney must be licensed by the Supreme Court of South Carolina. Except where a person is representing his or her own cause,which you have not claimed to do, practicing law without a license is strictly prohibited by state law. Section 40-5-310 states that practicing law without a license is a felony, with a penalty of up to five years in prison and/or five a thousand dollar fine. As of 2002, Section 40-5-80 was amended to prohibit the representation of another, with or without permission from a court. The practice of law is more than just appearing in court on behalf of a client. Though no concise definition of practice of law exists, certain characteristics make it more likely that the Court will view certain conduct as the practice of law. This includes “the preparation of legal instruments of all kinds, and in general all advice to clients and all action taken for them in matters connected with the law." In re Duncan, 65 S.E. 210 (S.C. 1909).The practice of law “extends to activities in other fields which entail specialized legal knowledge." South Carolina v. Buyers Serv. Co., 357 S.E.2d 15 (S.C. 1987).

So, if this is road you want to take this down, Jessica I will go there with you. The South Carolina bar offers this document which can be filed with the Attorney General and the bar association in the event that someone is practicing law without a license. I will not hesitate to move forward with the filing of this document (and any others) should you attempt to continue this charade.

Jessica, your actions here have shown me that you are so crooked that you probably ARE the same person who has scammed people on Ebay, Amazon.com, through Stressgoneforgood.com, Jodo Publishing and The Furniture People and I would not be surprised if the claims against you about scamming families as a surrogate are true as well. I have been contacted by NO other Jessica O'Donnells since this blog began, yet you are all over me about this....I contend it is because I have called you on the carpet with your scams and screwed up business for you!

.....and Jessica, get over yourself. People are Googling you because you are untrustworthy and shady and they are looking into your past. This site comes up after dozens of others on a Google search of your name, and I'm sure your friends and family are shocked to find out that you have been scamming people with your businesses - I'm sure they had heard of them when business was good, and now you are claiming persecution and mistaken identity!? You've been caught!

All of this and I have not even gotten to how Jessica has been asking around about how to get this blog removed.....

Well, the situation here with our "multiple Jessica O'Donnells" only gets more and more ridiculous. As I have stated before, there are plenty of people out there that share names, so why would someone be SO obsessed with a site that is not aimed at them? If anything that "babywishing" or "babyfaith" has said in the comments is true, then I would have to say that the Jessica O'Donnell that has been posting here MIGHT be just as criminal as our Stressgoneforgood friend, I have NO EVIDENCE either way. These re-posted comments (below) only push me closer and closer to thinking that these Jessica's are one and the same....the tale that is told with each post, and each step that she is going to disassociate herself with "the other Jessica", only makes her look worse and worse. If she isn't the Stressgoneforgood Jessica, well she has not painted a good picture as a surrogate mother either. Perhaps I should do some research and change my focus entirely to protecting families seeking surrogates!

Isn't it funny how she is supposedly enraged with each comment, yet ends them with "take care" or "thanks"?

As far as the lawyer and the cease and desist letter (written by Jessica, but sent from the Blogger username her lawyer took the time to set up? ) I looked ito that and have decided it's worth it's own post.

While I feel foolish re-posting this stuff after it pops up in the comments, it is the only way to really bring it to the forefront of this site.....so......

Here are some new comments from the other Jessica. She again feels the need to defend herself and clear her name. I should say again, there are many people in this world and some of them share a name...this site is not an attack on anyone but the woman at "Stressgoneforgood" who has been scamming people online in several different forms. I have no interest in the exploits of this "wildsoutherngirl28" Jessica and I could care less if she is a good surrogate mother or not...that is not what I am about or this site is about.

As far as ceaseing and desisting, I do not know whether an attorney has been contacted or not, but I am interested to see where this goes. I am easily contacted through this site, my email is available. Please know that any correspondence with me via email, or any form, may appear in part or in full on this website. That is, unless ordered by law. I will consider removal of the babywishing comments, not because I fear legal action, but because it does fall outside the realm of this site's content. As for these other comments, this is a public forum, YOU posted these words and I simple re-posted them in an actual blog post. It was YOUR CHOICE to get on this site and post your comments, they originated with you. Your comments were a pleasure to see on this site, I love the screenname, it really says "responsible surrogate woman". I do not know if you are the Jessica O'Donnell that has run stressgoneforgood, Jodo publishing and the Furniture People...however, I would guess that you just might be her. You see, if you honestly were a DIFFERENT Jessica Odonnell, well then this site would not effect you in the least. "The real" Jessica O'donnell would be pretty pissed to find the people she ripped off online were now trying to shut her down, but I would think that any other Jessica Odonnell's wouldn't take it as personally since it was clearly not aimed at them, so why the big explanation and rant? It is curious that in your "not me! not me!" post you even began throwing out excuses (laptop was stolen) - why?

So, Jessica, per your request, I am posting your comments and any others in the future. i would just like to say that i am sure this is the same person who has scammed others.Her post on surrogatemothers on line stated that she is the loving dedicated widow to a army casualty in iraq, and that she will spend the rest of her life loving him only, so no need to worry about boyfriends etc. also that she is from a very wealthy dairy cow farm and works as a nurse. i can tell you she states that she is a pediatric nurse at greenville memorial, but the state of south carolina does not have anyone with her name licensed as a nurse. this is the reason she gave to not do a background check RED FLAG!!in her surrogacy quest her story has changed from her brother and sister with twins and triplets to sister and brother with triplets and quadruplets, evidently you get a lot for your money if you use her to carry your baby because she has so many multiples in her family, again another red flag.....the only thing you need to do is send a money order to her, she always gets pregnant on the first insemination. to this she claimed how honest she is, that she has heard of people taking the money and tossing the BIOTRANZ specimen, along with desperate and trusting peoples dreams!if you are a family looking for a surrogate i would be very careful, complete a background check, speak with her former familes....she has done this three times before evidently..triplets, twins, twins....all c-section deliveries. i am not sure how her uterus could last through another pregnancy

The Furniture People Scam

It seems that "The Furniture People" scam, the new venture for Jodo Publishing aka stressgoneforgood, has halted. No updates or additions have been made to the site, the business numbers are dead and have not changed.

While this is great news, it may mean that our friend J.L. Odonnell down there in Townville, South Carolina (if that's where she still is) has started up a yet another project to get people's money. If so, we will find out and continue to expose her filthy scams and rip-of businesses.

Yes, this is almost the same info from our last post.....however, it is important that we keep the site fresh and keep our Google placement right next to these scammers websites on internet searches.

"The Furniture People" NO NEWS IS GOOD NEWS

Well, things have been kind of quiet with the exception of the last post. I feel the need to add material to the site even if I'm repeating myself a little, because as long as I am posting the blog will hold it's place near Stressgoneforgood on internet searches which is important to get the word out and help prevent any more scams by these bastards!

All of the phone numbers, 866 and otherwise, for Stressgoneforgood and The Furniture People are inactive or disconnected which is a good sign. At least if people call they might get clued in that these businesses are not legit or sustained and will choose to not do business with them. I don't know many people that would "shop with confidence" like it says on their site, if they knew that the company couldn't manage (or want?) to keep a simple telephone number.

I have not seen anything else on e-bay in relation to the known "usernames" that were being used to promote scams there, but that doesn't mean anything since new ones might have been created.

PLEASE! If you are reading this site because you we scammed by Stressgoneforgood, write me a note in the comments section and I will contact you via email.

First, this site now ranks DIRECTLY below http://www.stressgoneforgood.com/ on Google! This means anyone checking out stressgoneforgood, Jodo publishing, or the other associated "businesses" and Ms. Odonnell will hopefully come here and decide AGAINST doing business with these scammers!

Jessica Odonnell took a LOT of my money too and NO product!! I bid on a group of her items on ebay, user ID junkcollector0526....I wasn't the winning bidder but she later contacted me and said that the items were available and offered them to me. After asking numerous questions and feeling comfortable with the situation I send her a cashiers check. I did speak to her twice on the phone as she called regarding the transaction. She was very pleasant and we continued to communicate via email. Shortly after she received my payment she emailed and said she had to make an emergency trip to Washington as her father was on life support and she would let me know when she was heading back home. Her story remained consistant and the last email I received from her was on 6/20/07. She said they were taking her dad off of life support and she would ask her friend Kate to mail the baskets and that she was getting a money order and would refund half of my money for all of the frustration. That was the VERY LAST that I heard from her. I called her home 6/28/07 and the # has been disconnected. Today I remembered that the Check Cashing place had called asking about the cashiers check...so I checked my caller ID and sure enough... there was the number. I called and explained the situation and they had the same address & phone # as I do...but they require a relative's info too...so the lady gave me what is suppose to be Jessica's moms address & phone #. I called a number of times today and the line was busy and then later there wasn't an answer....who knows if this is actually her mom or not. I have no idea what to do now... I would appreciate any input as I'm out a great deal of money.

I would recommend that you also contact e-bay about this issue. Quite often scammers will run "last chance" offers or deals such as the one you fell victim to. THESE ARE NEVER SANCTIONED BY EBAY AND SHOULD BE REPORTED!! Alot of the time scammers like Ms. Odonnell take advantage of the fact that you believe this to be a legit e-bay offer and then they can make off with your money. It is possible that the check company might be able to help you track this down. Unfortunately, e-bay will not be able to help, but if you complain about the user they can block them from the site. I'm guessing that this user "junkcollector0526" is not even a actual registered e-bay user....also typical of these kinds of scams.

Stressgoneforgood: Latest Crap Swindle...Beds!

The stressgoneforgood website was recently updated and they are now calling themselves "The Furniture People" and selling Serta matresses.

From the looks of it, it appears to be the same type of set up we have seen in the past, minimal customer interaction and no online feedback. No suprise the e-mail address has changed, yet again! Now it's tfpdirect@aol.com - presumable "The Furniture People Direct".

We did put another call in to them but to no avail. There was a short lived rumor that
the 866 number was no longer in theirs and was now "Dial an Asshole" but that
- as far as we can tell - is not true. The message is simply "leave me a mesage" and by the sounds of it it is still Ms. Odonnell.

Interesting that the site now points out "We invite you to browse through our store and shop with confidence. In addition, we adhere to a strict privacy policy that means your information will not be shared, sold, or otherwise distributed. We Offer Free Shipping on all orders click on the product below to see our amazing low prices."

I know that when I buy from a company, I am always reassured when the ONLY information provided on their website is pointing out that they aren't scamming me...that's a BIG FLASHING RED LIGHT!!!

Of course they offer free shipping, they will never ship the product!!!! Thats ALWAYS free!!

Basics and B.S.

When you do a internet search for "Stressgoneforgood" or their website www.stressgoneforgood.com you do not come up with too much information about this company. Unfortunately, most people looking for them have already been victims of their internet scams and might have already lost money to these scumbag bullshit artists.

If you do enough searching you might find www.shop.stressgoneforgood.com which is an older site of theirs....no suprise that there is nothing in the storefront...little information is to be had. If you were to press on further you might find traces of stressgoneforgood on sites selling Microsoft Vista, Playstation 2 or maybe plasma televisions. Stressgoneforgood has been in all of these places, listed as a seller and later disappearing. At one point as recent as May 2007, they were listed as an Amazon seller.

Little is actually known about this company, other than the fact that they have left a trail of disappointed buyers and pissed off websites that have had to foot the bill for their 3rd party seller's take the money and run scams.

Actually, I shouldn't say little is known....

I have their telephone & fax numbers, their address and I know that the company is run by a woman named Jessica Odonnell out of Piedmont, South Carolina. Jessica is a lovely "butterflygodess" and her "business" is more than ready to take your money if you'll let them, just don't expect anything in return. It looks like the new site is going to include some sort of "program...I'm sure this will be a hoot. What's your guess? Motivational crap, maybe some pseudo-science pseudo-medical quackery? From the looks of things I'm guessing the quackery.

If you've had a run in with stressgoneforgood, please let me know. I plan on filling this site with more information on this and other internet scams!
